Here are a few nuggets to start off the week:

  • Jacksonville (Fla.) Andrew Robinson small forward Stacey Poole has narrowed his list to Kentucky and South Carolina and will make a decision in the next few days. Poole (photo), a member of the Class of 2010, made a visit to Lexington over the weekend.
  • Sherman (Texas) forward Cameron Clark, who had been considering UK until recently, made a commitment to Oklahoma after a weekend official visit to Norman, Okla.
  • Tony Wroten, one of the nation’s top junior basketball players, suffered a torn ACL in a football game and will miss six to nine months because of the injury. Wroten, who plays at Seattle Garfield, likely won’t return until next spring. He was playing football for the first time during his high school career.
  • Rod Odom made an official visit to Arizona over the weekend and told Rivals.com after the visit the Wildcats were “at the top.” Odom didn’t mentioned Louisville in another interview with an Arizona newspaper even after a visit several weeks ago. But it’s no shocker. Louisville is only targeting Tobias Harris and J.J. Moore from the 2010 class.
